  • Notes
  • The Sears Silvertone 7076 is an AC/DC operated 5 tube BC and SW band receiver.  Has internal switch that selects between AC and DC that connects speaker field coil before or after rectifier tube. Has 154 ohm resistance built into line cord (Curtain Burner).

The chassis and schematic used in this model is also used in models 7075, 7077, 7078, 7091, 7092, 7093 and 7094.

See details and summaries about Sears catalogs etc. This model was manufactured for Sears by Colonial Radio Corp., Buffalo, NY (Sears Manufacturer Source Number Code 101).

Riders Index shows only 10-98, but the same schematic is also found in 4-33/34.
There is a later version (1941) which is a Portable for battery as well as for AC/DC mains operation. The related schematic in 10-98 is wrong (Riders error)!
