  • The Silvertone model 5227 with chassis 528.33200 is a three power portable multi-band AM superheterodyne receiver with coverage: LW 0.190-0.410, Broadcast 0.535-1.630, 2 x SW 1.9-6.25, 8-18.25MHz. Battery Operation: 9 volt "A" section for tube filaments, 90 volt B section for B+ voltage in one combined battery. Careful: There is a most similar model Silvertone 5227 with chassis 528.33201 for AC and battery operation. Look up also that model with other speaker. This model here has an oval loudspeaker of 5" x 7" diameter.
