The Sears Silvertone 6217 is a battery/DC operated 10 transistor portable AM/FM radio. The AM band frequency tuning range is 530-1640kHz. The FM band frequency tuning range is 88-108MHz. Has push-pull output stage and earphone jack that disconnects the speaker for private listening. FM has AFC circuit. Cabinet is black plastic with chrome-plated trim. Uses Qty(6) 1.5V batteries or external DC 9V power adapter.
