The Sears Silvertone 6228 is a battery operated 13 transistor portable AM/FM/SW radio. The AM band frequency tuning range is 520-1680kHz. The FM band frequency tuning range is 88-108MHz. The SW band frequency tuning range is 3.8-12.2MHz. Has push-pull output stage and external spreaker jack. Also has earphone jack that disconnects the internal speaker for private listening.
