The Sears Silvertone 8224 is an AC/DC or battery operated 5 tube LW, BC and SW band receiver. Has Qty(1) Elliptical PM 5" x 7" speaker and tuned RF stage with 3-gang tuning. Has 5 tubes and rectifier. Also has two antenna's, one iron core antenna and one telescoping short wave whip antenna. Luggage-type wood case covered with two tone gray and black simulated leather.
