  • The Sencore TDC22 tests for open and shorts and transistor quality, leakage and gain (beta).  Three leads are attached for connection to Emitter, Base, and Collector.  The small user instruction guide and transistor setup charts were placed in a pocket on the back side of the device.

    The unit was also sold under Sencore's earlier name of Senco but the model number is the same for both. It was initially advertised under the Senco name in 1956 but under the Sencore name in 1957.  The 1957 ad states "formerly Senco".  Both names were trademarks of the Service Instruments Company.
