Note that the schematic shows a "BALLAST" tube as "(46)" or "(47)". These are reference numbers, most likely on the parts list not shown here, and not actual tube numbers as noted in the "NOTES: 1. NUMBERS SHOWN IN PARENTHESIS ARE ILLUSTRATION NUMBERS."
The "VOLTAGE RATING" notes at the bottom of the schematic list the two (BALLAST) tubes as:
- "11222 line voltage regulator tube" for 100-120 VAC, 50-60 Hz, or
- "11223 line voltage regulator tube" for 210-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz.
