  • Line supply = AC or DC - battery: 67,5V = +B 1,5V x 2 =A (filament). Selenium rectifier and 68 ohm resistor (item 40 and 23) are used in model 286PR only. 117Z3 tube is used in model 286P only. Built in loop antenna. Two-tone plastic cabinets available in variety of colors. Ad in the "Saturday Evening Post, Mai 1, 1948: The models are 316 PM, 286 PR, 296 M, probably 314-I plus yet unknown model with 4 knobs, probably the model 294 T.

    The Sentinel model 286-PR is in Red and Black, model 286-PMI in Maroon and Ivory, model 286-PBI in Black and Ivory and model 286-PM in all Maroon.

    A Sentinel Folder for season 1947/48 shows the following models together: 285, 286, 289, 296, 298, 302, 305, 309, 313, 314, 315 and 316 in different colors, for instant suffix "I" for Ivory and "W" for Walnut.
