Aircraft "Range Receiver" BC-1206, 195 - 400 kHz, not a direction finder but indicating if the aircraft was within range of a specific beacon or other station. 24 - 28V DC used for both heaters and anode voltage, very compact design for use in small aircraft.
Carlson apparently also marketed the same radio under model number "524" for civil aviation.
