- Notes
- China's most advanced portable transistor radio, model Red Lantern 红灯 (Hongdeng), uses Mosfet and AGC-controlled Dual-Gate Mosfet Transistors as RF preamplifiers. The FM IF section contains beside 5 L/C circuits two four-pole ceramic filters. In 1974, the Shanghai No.2 Radio Factory developed and produced 200 units of the Red Lantern model 735 all-bands portable upper-class radio. This was built for the needs of users and special departments who required high sensitivity reception. In 1976, Red Lantern 735 won the first prize from the 6th National Radio Appraisal Meeting.
