Sharp Model CBT-6 Transceiver
High output transceiver with rechargeable nickel cadmium battery. Complete with leather case.
Specifications: 13 transistor crystal controlled double superheterodyne system with squelch circuit.
Receiver: sensitivity 0.7 μV, frequency 27.24 MC/s (MHz), audio output, 460 mW maximum; 400 mW undistorted. Speaker 2⅝" PDS. Transmitter: frequency 27.24 MC/s (MHz). Microphone is common to speaker. Antenna, 4 ft 3" telescopic. Power source. 12 volt cadmium battery.This model sold in Australia between 1964 & 1967 for £88/4/- ($176.40 after 14/2/1966). Price includes battery.
