  • Notes
  • Skyscraper 6 Valve With Electric Eye

7-valve (including "electric eye") broadcast (MW) superhet with RF stage console receiver. This model uncharacteristically appears to have had a very short model run with no or unknown chassis code. See included schematic from 1938 which is either the same or very similar to this 1939 console.

See also table version Skyscraper 6 Valve With Electric Eye.

Manufactured by Radio (1936) Ltd for Bond & Bond Ltd.

6-Valve SKYSCRAPER for 1939 with Electric Eye. Every inch of its edge-lit slide rule dial is crammed with stations to bring you the finest programmes Australia and New Zealand can provide. Micrometer tuning and electric eye give hairline selectivity, the tone control gives tonal wide-range perfection, and the modern console is a beautiful example of fine cabinet work.
