  • This is a only Onde Medie (BC or Mediums Waves) superheterodyne coat-pocket 7 transistors set with the brand Sonovox.

According to Guglielmo Rebuffo who posted in this site some informations and still the radio model De Luxe, "Sonovox Milano" began to produce transistor radios and televisions in the early Sixties in Volpedo, a little place in the province of Alessandria. Propietor was dottor Tamburelli who also took care of the electronic projects.

Due to its trapezoidal form and the large tuning knob, this model resembles the early RCA transistor sets like the models 9-BT-9J and 8-BT-9E (on page 47 of the 1998 Norman Smith's book "Transistor Radios 1954-1968"

This set is equipped with 7 transistor. Only one of them is an SFT type (without lettering) while the other tophat style 6 transistors have the lettering SONOVOX and are numbered from 1 up to 6 as shown in the posted pictures.
