Compact Disc Player CDP-C535

The Sony Model CDP-C535 is a carousel type CD player with a tray that can hold 5 CDs. A disc exchange feature allows viewing and replacing non-playing disks and loading discs into empty trays. The facilities provided include a program performance function that can set up to 32 songs across 5 discs, 7-mode repeat of one song, all songs on one disc, all songs on all discs, all disc programs, one disc shuffle, all disc shuffle and select disc shuffle.  An automatic music sensor can quickly start a song, and music search enables fast forward / backward playback while listening to a song. The display has a 5-disc 20 track music calendar.

The unit has a custom edit function with eight functions: peak search, time edit, link edit, program edit, multi-disc program, time fade, variable fade, and manual fader. In peak search, all songs are searched at high speed, and they are repeatedly played for about four seconds before and after the point where the volume level is highest.  A custom file function includes four kinds of function such as delete bank, level file, DSP file and last mode memory. The DSP function provides five types of acoustic atmosphere.

The CD player has a wireless remote control (Type RM-D535) and is equipped with an optical digital output.
