- Information from John Grieve, Australia: Only the US models are doing skip field recording. Australian and European models are full field recording. Recording time for non-US models is 40mins on a 720m 7" reel of tape, 60mins for the US models. CV-2100 ACE has 63 transistors, 32 diodes.
Info Wolfgang Scheida for Europe: 1/2" open reel home video recorder, records both 625 and 405 line standard. Skip Field machine - only alternate fields of the incoming video are recorded - for playback this field is repeated twice to reproduce each complete frame.
