- Tapecorder M-4 was produced by Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo, Ltd.
Combined two-stage record and playback amplifier. RF bias oscillator, neon lamp for record indication. One rec/PB head, no erase head present. Jacks for microphone and headphones (monitor and PB). Tape transport uses a spring loaded motor drive with a centrifugal governor. Capstan has stroboscope dial for speed control. See also Sony M5B.
