  • Notes
  • This Sony Walkman Cassette player features a AM/FM Radio, supports Auto-Reverse, Dolby NR, MegaBass, and Metal Tapes.
It can record from the Radio and from an external 0.26mV Microphone.

Sound is superb, as long as one replaces the original electrolitic capacitors with new ones.

These old capacitors usually leaks the electrolite after a few years,  loosing the capacitance, resulting in faults like low volume on tape with heavy background noise coming from pre-amplifier instability oscillation, and Dolby NR will whistles strongly when enabled.
