  • Small loudspeaker developed by the BBC to monitor and assess broadcast quality. Spendor  (and other manufacturers) were granted a licence to build and market them commercially in 1975.

    • 19mm Mylar-dome tweeter KEF T27 SP1032 (KEF B110 SP1228 1987 onwards)
    • 110mm Bextrene-cone woofer KEF B110 SP1003
    Frequency response: 90 Hz - 20 kHz ± 3 dB at 1 m with grilles on.

    Nominal impedance: 15 ohms (1975-1987); 11 ohms (1987 onward).
