  • Case is glued corrugated cardboard styled as a bird house. The battery holder is behind a card flap.

    Front panel in/out for radio or 3.5mm jack cable to MP3 player or phone. A slot in the base to carry it.

    Short telescopic aerial.

    Three RGB flickering LEDs for the disco effect give changing spots on the ceiling in a dim or dark room.

    Lettering is scraped off the two ICs, but it's obviously the TDA7088 PLL FM receiver or Chinese equivalent and a stereo headphone amplifier wired in bridge to drive the speaker. Scan controls: Up, Down, Reset.

    There may be be a version with the slot on the right hand side.
