- The Standard Assembling Company offered this Detector and Two-Stage Amplifier in two different ways. Commercial Type Or Amateur Type. The Commercial Type used RCA UV-712 Audio transformers and quality tube sockets. The Amateur Type used transformers and tube sockets of a lower cost. The Commercial type D/A was $65 wired or $55 unwired. THe Amateur Type D/A was $57 wired or $47 unwired.
