    Switchable to external batteries. The HT (B) batteries are 2 x 45V Eveready/NCC 482 (=Ever Ready B104)  The LT (A) battery is an Eveready/NCC 745 Radio "A" pack which used 8 x F cells in parallel (in one row), no UK Ever Ready equivalent, over 250 Hours LT.

    Tone control.

    The rear cover screws are also the external Aerial and Earth connections.

    Appears to have lots of bands, but these are actually different regions and same band.
