    A fully transistorised unit comprising a 4-speed record player  (BSR Model TU9B) equipped with high quality pick-up playing standard and microgroove discs of all sizes, and having a governed motor; together with a broadcast radio receiver featuring inbuilt magnetic rod aerial, automatic gain control circuit, highly efficient temperature-compensated class "B" push-pull output stage. Separate motor and radio batteries give average equivalent life of 150 hours.
