This audio amplifier - speaker was designed to convert monophonic record players or radiograms to stereo. It was supplied with a stereo turnover cartridge. This model, as with the A3091/1EB, was designed to be used with more upmarket radiograms (6 or more valves). Another stereo converter was available, model A2091EA, for use with inexpensive 5 valve radiograms.
This model uses a 12 inch woofer and a 5 inch tweeter. It differs from the A3091/1 only in the type of tweeter used.
