Stoelting made and sold coherer and crystal receivers and spark transmitters in the early wireless era (pre-1920). Most of their wireless equipment was used in school and university labs for teaching early wireless, electrical, and physics principles to students. This is a 1912 fixed-gap spark transmitter. Note the adjustable glass plate condensers.
