Stromberg Carlson Model TC60 "Comet" Transportable TV
A 23" transportable TV receiver having aluminised electrostatic-focus tube, 14 valves, six germanium and two silicon diodes, one thermistor. Washable, vinyl, covered aluminium cabinet on legs; handgrips.
Features: Aerial input 300 ohms. Frame-grid cascode turret tuner for 10 channels. Frame-grid IF valve. Keyed, gated AGC; gated flywheel sync. DC-coupled video amplifier; adjustable noise gate. Swing-down chassis for easy servicing; detachable plug in turret control bracket. Twin telescopic (three-piece) rotary ball joint-attached indoor aerial; when not in use, retracts into rear cabinet cavity. Speaker: front-mounted Rola 5-4.
