The Swan HF-700-S Single Sideband Transceiver has the following features:
- Hybrid transceiver operating in the ranges from 80 to 10 meters in SSB and CW:
- 80 meters 3.5 to 4.0 MHz
- 40 meters 7.0 to 7.450 MHz
- 20 meters 14.0 to 14.450 MHz
- 15 meters 21.0 to 21.450 MHz
- 10 meters 28.0 to 29.7 MHz.
- Receiver sensitivity: Less than 0.5 µV at 50 Ω for signal-plus-noise/noise ratio of 10 dB.
- Audio output 4 W to 3.2 Ω load. Response flat from 300 to 3,000 Hz both receive and transmit.
- Power input to final stage: SSB, suppressed carrier 550 Watts PEP. CW 360 Watts.
- This device does not have an internal speaker, but space for a 3x5 inch internal speaker is provided for mobile installations.
- Sockets for external 4 Ω speaker and headphones are at the rear of the device.
- The power supply can be supplied from model PSU-3A for 117-230 V AC or from model 14-117 for 12-14 V DC for mobile installations.
