Plug In Test Unit Type P. It generates a fast-rise step-function test signal of known waveform. It is used to standardize the main-unit vertical amplifier transient response of a Tektronix 53x and 54x Series Oscilloscope. It features a bounce-free low-impedance high-pressure hydrogen-filled mercury switch. Risetime 4 nanoSeconds.
