  • Notes
  • The Teletype Corporation Model 19 is a composite set consisting of a Model 15 page printer with a special keyboard driving the tape perforator, and a Model 14 transmitter-distributor. These basic units are mounted on a special table designed to provide all interconnection power and control of the equipment. The table has a space for the REC-30 power supply.

The power supply is electronically regulated using thyratron grid controlled rectifier. It is rated at 120 volts DC output @ 0.9 amperes over an input range of 95 to 250 volts AC from 25 to 60Hz. In addition, this power supply provides an adjusted AC voltage of 110 volts to supply power to the series governed motors.

The governed motors are equipped with a strobe target for setting the correct speed with a aperture tuning fork. For 45,45 Bauds operation the tuning fork is 87.6 Hz and for 50 Bauds the aperture tuning fork is 96.19 Hz.
