The Recordon Dictation Machine: Compact Convenience
The Recordon, a marvel of magnetic recording technology, was licensed from the Brush Development Company of the USA. Its secret weapon? Recordable discs! These discs featured pre-printed fold lines, allowing them to be mailed after recording. A special pre-grooved disc kept the recording disc flat and guided the recording arm for optimal performance.
Reusable Convenience: Recordings weren't permanent! The handy Erase Bar, stored conveniently within the case, could completely erase a used disc with a single rotation, allowing discs to be reused endlessly.
Enhanced Workflow: Boost your productivity with a variety of accessories:
- Foot Pedal: Effortlessly control recording and playback with a simple press.
- Microphone/Receiver Headset: Lightweight and comfortable for clear communication.
- Light Weight Receiver: Experience superior sound quality with background noise reduction and comfortable listening.
- Executives Type Microphone: High-fidelity recording and playback with a convenient push-to-talk switch.
The Recordon dictation machine offered a compact and versatile solution for professionals on the go.
