  • For operation from air cells for L.T., the 1D5G and 1F5G valves were used. Otherwise the 1M5G and 1L5G were used. This model became a vibrator set with a model V2 vibrator unit plugged in. When used this way the valve filaments were connected in parallel across one cell of a 6 volt storage battery and the 4 volt vibrator unit was connected across the other two cells. This radio had three position switched variable selectivity.
