  • The Tompson model "Concert Grand Neutrodyne S-70" has three dials (primary tuning control knobs) and is featured in the "Van-Ashe Radio Catalogue" called "1924 - for season 1925" for $ 180 without tubes. It is a two-tone sloping-front mahogany cabinet with an integrated battery case for the dry batteries and external connections for a storage battery. It could be bought in at least early 1925 complete with accessories and six tubes UV201A for $ 285 or complete with six tubes UV199 for $ 255. At this time the UX tubes were not yet on the market.
