  • Notes
  • The "R.E. Thompson Manufacturing Thompson" Radio "Grandette Neutrodyne 5-D" is most probably a later version of the "5-tube-Neutrodyne". It is featured in the "Van-Ashe Radio Catalogue" called "1924 - for season 1925". The receiver is in a mahogany cabinet with a polished bakelite panel. It could be bought in at least early 1925 - for $ 125 or complete with all the necessary accessory incl. tubes for $ 225. At this time the UX tubes were not yet on the market.
