  • This Trav-ler model 5052 with 5 tubes has the minature-7-pin-base-Pentagrid-Converter 12BE6, followed by an IF-Pentode 12BA6 for the first IF plus the Triode-Double-Diode tube 12AT6 for 2nd IF and detection. The Beam Power Tube 50B5 drives the loudspeaker and the Half-Wave Vacuum Rectifier 35W4 transforms the power to DC.

    There is a simpler 4 tube model 5052 with the Octal based Pentagrid-Converter (also a Heptode) 12SA7GT and the metal Triode-Double-Diode 12SQ7 for the single IF-stage and 2nd detection. The 50L6GT drives the loudspeaker and the 35Z5GT is the Half-Wave Vacuum Rectifier.
