  • The TRESCO Tuner and Detector Unit is a regenerative receiver. It was sold separately but was also part of the TRESCO Sectional Universal. There were four separate pieces that comprised the Sectional Universal. The Tuner Detector Unit, the Two-Step audio Amplifier unit, the "A" Battery Box unit and the Loud Speaker Unit which is made to fit the Westinghouse Vocarola speaker. A top and base were also available for either 2, 3 or 4 units. The Tuner and Detector unit was sold for $55 finished in mahogany or $50 finished in French Gray oak.
