  • A childs tape recorder, half track, approximate speed is 3.75 ips, spool size 3 inches.

    Motor tilts so double ended spindle engages on the rim of either the take up spool or the rewind spool. Rewind speed slightly faster than play, by virtue of larger diameter motor shaft. Record uses DC bias and permanent magnet erase.
    Supplied with crystal microphone and personal earpiece, 3 inch spool of tape and spare take up spool.

    Uses PP3 9v battery for amplifier & 2 x 1.5v C cells for motor wired in parallel. The tape spools are marked "Sychrotape".
