  • The Tecsun R9702 SW Dual Conversion model uses a chassis manufactured in several versions since its release in 2001, and was produced for Grundig as well for some time around 2004.

    It is a pure analog pocket world receiver with digital frequency display, clock and alarm, FM Stereo (on headphones), MW, and double conversion on SW (1st IF 10700 kHz, 2nd IF 455 kHz), It runs from two "AA" 1.5V dry batteries or from DC 3V from an external power supply (positive in the outer sleeve).
