    Brief technical details

The PCB assembly reference is "KK-F266-MB-V2.2" "2021-12-15"

The design is based around a BK1198 DSP Mechanical tuning AM/FM/SW radio Mono audio (SOP16 package version), by BEKEN. A basic RF front using one R25 NPN transistor and one A7 pair of diodes for ESD antenna protection, handles the SW and FM bands.

The DSP IC shows the usual soft mute when jumping between frequency steps. The SW band uses 5 kHz steps, despite the display having only two decimal digits. While rotating the tuning knob, two soft-mute moments are registered for each 10 kHz second decimal digit. The tuning uses a rotary 100KR potentiometer coupled to a reduction gearbox with two gear wheels, enabling for a more precise tuning operation.

    LTK5128D audio amplifier IC drives the built-in 45mm 2 Ohm 5W speaker.

A custom  AH100QCL audio processor IC manages the radio and drives the LCD.

The power supply uses some additional active components to handle the battery charging (very basic circuit of a 1R5 resistor and a SS4 diode), power regulation (422P / LN1154B332MR, LDO 3.3V), and switching (a A1SHB P-MOSFET to apply power to the MP3 ports; an undocumented MJE2B IC in series with the battery (-Batt) probably for protection).
