Nachfolgend das Werbeblatt zum VARTA Simplex Ladegerät für Heizakkumulatoren. Es verwendet wie das Duplex Ladegerät eine Spezialröhre mit dem Aufdruck "VARTA Simplex 2 Amp" und wurde mindestens 1926 bis 1937 gebaut (belegt durch VARTA Katalog für Akkumulatoren). Ob es ähnlich wie beim Duplex Ladegerät eine Version mit Trafo und Blechhaube gab ist mir nicht bekannt, ist aber zu vermuten.
