This unit is a frequency divider for use with Wayne-Kerr FM-3, FM-6 and FM-7 VHF frequency meters. It can extend the frequency measuring range down to 50 kHz and the frequency generating range down to 200 kHz.
The instrument is available in three forms:
1) As a complete portable unit with batteries in its lower half.
2) With a power supply PS-3C in the same place of the batteries.
3) As FM-5R with power supply PS-3 rack-mounted version, for installation in a standard 19 by 8¾ inch rack.
