According to the user manual, there were three planned versions of the Model 101. It is not clear whether Model 101-27 was ever manufactured.
Model 101-1: basic chassis with crystal pickup and replaceable needle.
Model 101-27: Interchangeable heads allowed the use of either GE RPX-040 or GE RPX-041 cartridges.
Model 101-270: Superceded the Model 101-27 and was installed with a permanent head that accepted the GE RPX-050 Triple-play cartridge.
