  • Notes
  • The name "Afgeschermde Drie" means that this kit (with 3 receiving tubes) uses a shielded unit with a set of coils, which are fixed and which consequently have not to be replaced.

A later development was equipped with 4V tubes only: E442, E415, B443 and 373. The last version used an improved shielded coil unit (Biedermann catalogue number 5011).

The builded kit is found in various (mostly home made) cabinets.

The "Afgeschermde Drie" was also supplied in a DC version.

It is easy to identify both the AC and DC kit as "Afgeschermde Drie", as only this Weco product is equipped with a coil unit with 6 or 7 connections at the back side.
