  • Shape
  • Tablemodel, slant panel.
  • Dimensions (WHD)
  • 115 x 94 x 150 mm / 4.5 x 3.7 x 5.9 inch
  • Notes
  • Electronically controlled soldering station, with TRIAC (TIC 225M) in the output stage. Soldering iron Weller LR-21 (old blue, new black "antistatic"). Control principle: Temperature sensor built into the soldering iron. Temp. too low: continuous operation, LED lights up constantly ; Temp ok: pulse operation, LED flashes ; Temp. too high: TRIAC off, LED off. So similar to ERSA MS 60C / MC6000 / MS8000. Still without digital display. Successor e.g. WSD 161 with digital display, touch buttons and connections for 2 soldering irons, device otherwise identical in shape.

3 ICs: 78L05 (voltage regulator), LM358 (operational amplifier 2-fold), SL443A (pulse generator, TRIAC control)

    1 TRIAC: TIC 225M ; 4 diodes 1N4004 ; 1 LED
