The Western Auto Truetone D-711 Supreme is an AC operated 8 tube BC, Police and SW band receiver. Has tone control, tuning eye tube and push-pull output stage.
There are 3 known versions of the truetone D-711 model:

Volume 12, Page 12-13 8 Detrola D-711 Dial Type 2 Volume 12, Page 12-13 8 Detrola The 8 tube models use the same cabinet and chassis but have different dials, one being a red color and the other being a multi-color dial.
The catalog "1939 Truetone Radios" from "Western Auto Stores" shows a model as "Supreme" (see picture) with the multi-color dial. It is unclear if the red dial version is also known as a "Supreme" model.
