- The Western Coil & Electric Co. Lewis Three-Stage Receiver was introduced in September 1922. In the two period ads it is mentioned that there are three stages of amplification. Whether this is RF, AF or a combination of both is not revealed. The case was solid mahogany and all exposed parts were nickle plated. It sold for $275 complete with tubes, batteries and headphones.
