  • Two dials (primary tuning control knobs) The Western Coil & Electric Radiodyne WC-5B was an upgraded version of the predecessor WC-5. The binding posts were moved inside the cabinet to improve appearance. The WC-5 radios covered the 160-750 meters wavelength range. The WC-5 had one-stage of tuned RF amplification ahead of the detector, the detector and then two-stages of audio amplification.
