  • Notes
  • The Weston Industrial Circuit Tester 785 type 6A is a versatile Multimeter for measuring AC (5, 15, 30, 150, 300, 750V)  & DC volts (1, 10, 50, 200, 500, 1000) and resistance (Rx1, 10, 100, 1000, 10,000).  It has separate pin jacks for 50 uA adjusted for 100 millivolts full-scale for connection to external shunts for measuring DC currents greater than 10 A.  It also has separate terminals for measuring DC current (1, 10,100, 1000 mA, 10 amp), and AC current at 0.5, 1, 5, and 10 amperes full scale using a built-in current transformer.

Primarily intended for industrial use, it has a metal base and Bakelite top.  A wood carry case was also provided. DC sensitivity is 20K ohms/volt and AC sensitivity is 1K ohms/volt.
