  • Model 687 is an output meter recommended for use with portable test oscillators. It has a-c voltage ranges of 2-10-50 availiable at pin jacks. A self-contained condenser is provided for blocking any d-c component which might be present in the circuit under test. This condenser is brought out to a separate pin jack so that it may be introduced into the circuit when desired.

A Model 301 rectifier type instrument measures the a-c component of the current in the receiver output circuit.

The 687 is provided with a long pair of test leads for connection to the speaker voice coil and an adaptor for connection at output tube sockets.
