Following on the success of the 1933 Standard Superhet A.G. Hull designed the Champion Standard Superhet, an 8 valve superhet with RF stage, an additional audio driver and Push-Pull Triodes in the output stage.
The kit was sold using Lekmek or RCS coil kits by Levenson’s, Fox & Mac Gillycuddy and others at various prices around £14/10/- or £16 for a assembled and tested chassis.
