2 valve, Reflex TRF receiver with no regeneration based on the Harkness Reflex in the USA.
The functioning of the circuit is based upon the principle of reflex amplification. The first valve serves a double purpose, it amplifies the high frequency currents of incoming signals and, after rectification by the crystal also amplifies the audio frequency current variations. The second valve provides additional audio amplification.
Sold as a Kitset for £4/0/5 without valves and batteries.
