The price in the Radio Retailing March 1946 is $288.-- - for the early model "Zenith 1946" with the converter 6SB7. The model "late" has a converter 6SB7Y and maybe other technical change - see Rider's schematic page 15-91 & 92 with suffix "late"). "Late" was introduced in "Radio & Television Retailing", August 1947, page 45 as Zenith 12HO90 (letter O) instead of 12H090 (number 0).
